Indie duo Me Not You have released their latest single, ‘America’ on 18 October via MNY Music. The track was premiered via Wonderland Magazine who said, “Me Not You place themselves firmly within the canon of soft but dynamic indie rock”. You can read the full premiere here. While researching these up and comers, we ran across a feature of theirs on Indie Music who described their sound as, “Evidently borrows stylings from many genres creating something totally idiosyncratic, almost transcendent”.
Me Not You’s social media posts shed a little bit of light onto the message behind the song; “our 2 minute ode to (and inquisition of) our complicated nation is out now” and “our new single America is out today. most of the songs on our album are pretty personal. we tend to look inward. America is personal, but in a different way. it’s been hard to be an American lately. our hearts our broken but we’re looking forward” [sic].
